.Swantana Charitable Trust successfully implemented a college-integrated training program in Chennai, aimed at enhancing the career readiness of outgoing graduates. This initiative was rolled out in partnership with EduBridge under the banner of “EduBridge 4 Employment – Certification Program in Microsoft Office Excel with Data Analysis.”

The program was designed for final year degree college students. The 45 days course offered an opportunity to build essential digital and analytical skills required for the job market. The training was conducted within the college premises ensuring accessibility without disrupting their academic schedules.

Around 300 students were trained on practical and industry relevant modules: MS Excel, Data Analysis, Tally and GST. These skills are fundamental for a wide range of professional roles. The training also included elements of career readiness helping students gain confidence and competence needed to perform in a professional environment.

The positive outcome of the training was over 70% of the participants are placed in relevant job roles, making the program a success for both the students and the implementing organization.

This training program which strengthens the link between academia and industry was highly successful and demonstrates Swantana Charitable Trust’s commitment to empower youth through education and employment.
